Cookie Policy

How CheckATS uses cookies and optional analytics.

Essential Storage

Authentication cookies keep signed-in users connected securely. Browser storage may also remember interface preferences. These do not contain your resume. The free checker can be used without signing in.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics in the optional analytics panel at the bottom of a public page. Rejecting it does not prevent checking a resume or purchasing a rewrite pack.

When allowed, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure a 30-day cookie expiration without automatic renewal. It measures public page visits and limited tool milestones; it does not receive resume text, job descriptions, filenames, email addresses or account IDs. Page URLs omit query strings and fragments. We disable advertising personalization, Google signals and optional account data sharing. See Google's information about partner sites.

Change Your Choice

Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of any public page to allow or reject analytics. Withdrawing consent stops further measurement and removes this site's accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase data previously received by Google. Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage under checkats.analytics-consent.v1. Clearing site storage resets that choice, and analytics stays off until you allow it again.

Resume Drafts

If you explicitly enable draft retention, resume text, job-description text and filename are stored in this tab's session storage for up to 30 minutes. This optional feature is separate from analytics. It includes a clear control and does not upload your free-checker content.
